GLUTEN FREE CHOCOLATE CAKE
It’s gluten free, but not made with gluten free flour, just loads of high quality cocoa which packs it with chocolate flavor. Rich and soft, more like a mousse than a cake, its popular with chocolate lovers.

Every cake I bake has a story attached to it, whether it’s my various baking disasters, which cause endless mirth to those who know me and which I am less inclined to talk about, or my culinary successes, which I am more than happy to share.
The cakes on this page are those success stories.
Beginning with the CHOCOLATE CHEESE CAKE, which one of my daughter’s friends described as a “religious experience” and began my journey into the glory of baking and the compliments that come with it. Then the incredibly creamy and light NEW YORK STYLE CHEESE CAKE, which caused my good friend to abscond with the recipe to Canada (I’m not kidding she fled the country). And the slightly more sentimental cakes, which I love and I know my mother would have loved: THE RICH ALMOND CAKE and the DARK CHOCOLATE NUT CAKE.
Each cake has the toping on it that I, after much agonizing, decided I liked best, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t willing to mix it up a bit. When you email or call us feel free to ask about changing up the icing and decorations. We will do our best to accommodate you.
